Word Voyage Plan 3 offers the benefits of hands-on tutoring without scheduled meetings. The tutor creates custom lessons with vocabulary from the book(s) the student is reading. The tutor then works online with the student through the Word Voyage platform. Each time the student submits writing, the tutor responds with detailed voice comments targeting both proper word usage AND assigned grammar skills. All commenting is done by the live tutor; AI is never used for student interactions. Parents receive weekly reports showing progress with vocabulary, root families, grammar skills, sentences, time-on-task, and scores.
